White Oak Equines - Flying Fantasy Horses!

White Oak Equines has released a new breed of horse! Just on time for Halloween! These horses have all the same great features as the originals and more!

Two breeds have been released. The Pegasus, which comes in black and white, and a Hell horse! A bat winged version of the pegasus with hell fires! (see below for all details and pictures!)

White Oak Equine horses have many great features and customizations for a bit of individuality. An easy to use hud will help you control your horse, and the instructions below will outline everything about your new horse. We are proud to offer another spin on Second Life horses and have spent many hours trying to breed these horses into their own unique perfection. We hope that you enjoy your new horse as much as we enjoyed bringing them to life!

Out of the Box:
~ Three riding horses:
Western Saddle
English Saddle
Bareback

~ Standing Horse Version
~ Halter
~ Bales of hay
~ Bridle
~ Saddles (English and Western)

Three Riding horses:
These are the horses you can wear and ride. Just attach the horse to yourself. It should attach by default to the correct spot on the body. Western and English horses are included so you can ride to your style preference. There is also a bare back version that has no tack on it.

Standing horse version:
This horse is meant for rezzing in your barn or on your lawn, it has less prims and less scripts to reduce lag. It's basically just for show, for those of you who wish to display a copy :) Its eyes blink and ears twitch and it lifts its left leg randomly, bringing it to life just as the riding versions.

Extras: Additionally the box included the tack, as well as a casual halter. There are some decorative bales of hay.

Features of White Oak Equine:

There are a number of features we included to bring these horses to life! We also gave some customization ability so your horse can look a bit more unique from the next :) They were also designed with the rider in mind, offering a few saddle poses, and the ability to dismount and mount your horse. Features are as follows....

(see texture for details image of hud and labels )

~Blinking eyes.
~Twitching ears.
~Horse randomly paws at ground.
(All random, bringing the horse to life, no controls to adjust)

~Makes random horse sounds: neighs, whinnies and snorts.
(can be turned on and off via the hud)

~Hoof sounds accompany the trot and canter.
(can be turned on and off via the hud)

~Makes hoof prints and dust cloud.
(can be turned on and off via the hud)

~Has two gaits (trot and canter) and jumps.
( performs automatically when walking, running or jumping)

~Customize your horse with different facial and leg markings for a unique look.
(can be changed via the hud)

~Choose horse gender or opt for neutral.
(can be changed via the hud)

~Ride standard or side saddle in one horse.
(can be changed via the hud)

~Western and English saddles included, as well as bareback.
(wear which ever horse is your preference from your inventory!)

~Mount and dismount features.
(can be changed via the hud)

~Pose horse for easy photographing.

Pegasus -

(all these features listed can be turned on and off via use of the hud)
Enchanting sparkles -
Randomly sheds feathers -
Added fluffy beard -
Glide mode - keeps the wings extended.

______________________
Hell Horse

(all these features listed can be turned on and off via use of the hud)
Flaming hell effects - turns flames on for the horses mane and tail and makes smoke in the horses nostrils.
Added fluffy beard -
Flame trail added to the dust trail feature of the horse/hud
Glide mode - keeps the wings extended.

How the wings work -
They attach separately to your body. Unfortunately because of the limitations of Second life the best way to add wings that actually flapped up and down was to use this approach. Other methods would have resulted in more prims and wing frames, or else a less then desirable wing of minimal detail.

Depending on your avatar shape and height you may need to adjust the wing positions to best fit the horses body when attached.

Hey, it's a bit late, but I know where you can find these horses! They're in a social MMO called Second Life - where most content (avatars, mounts, accessories, etc) is player-created and most is bought with Linden dollars (L$). You can either earn L$ by participating in various activities (which you have to find) in-game, or by paying real money. Unfortunately, earning L$ is pretty difficult and time consuming unless you create and sell items, and most high quality items like these horses cost around L$1,000-3,000. The upside is the exchange rate is L$265 per $1 USD.
