Das Blinkingeyes Und Twitchinears!

Valen came in world today and helped me work on Balthazar, getting him all scripted up! pictures, pictures tee hee!~

Here is Valen his cool self up in Mithica scripting away like the wizard he is!

Yes! he got the horses eyes blinking and the ears moving! Its not the same obviously in a photo to show, would be better to sample in a video. Just those two features brought it to life! I always feel that way when making avatars for Rez Fantazy, its always the turning point.

He also got the customization working for the horses appearance as shown in an older post, the various facial markings and such.

And I started to put together a HUD base so that we can get the functions working with it. I'm doing my best to make a nice looking HUD thats clear and easy to use. Ill have it collapse down also so it doesn't always have to take up the view.

It seems like a bunch of work, but mostly small things that added up. But after some working together today it seems even closer to finished. Only a few more customizations to do and then ill be on the task of animations! aiming for a side saddle pose and a dismount/lead pose.

If anyone out there had suggestions start making them known now so I can take them into consideration!

This is something that I've not seen on a riding horse, but what about some kind of resize script, since some people may want a smaller mount. (Even though my avs are small, as long as I fit on it properly, I don't care what size my horse in SL is.)

Just a thought. :)

Any particular reason why you suggest a script for resizing rather then the traditional method of edit mode to shrink or enlarge?

Well, the Fiona Unicorn I have can be resized through dragging the boxes. However, it won't actually go any smaller, due to the eye prims. I know with the skirts I have, the script (most of them, anyway) will shrink those small prims down further.

(sorry this too so long to get to replying to!)
